Tentative Agreement
September 5, 2017
Dear Colleagues,
Below are three documents. The first is an article-by-article review of all substantive changes from the present Agreement (2014-17) to the proposed new Agreement (2017-20). All substantive elements of the present Agreement that are not referenced in this attachment remain as in the present Agreement (2014-17). This document represents what you are voting on.
Much of this summer's work involved resisting the administration's attempt to dismantle most of our Agreement's key protections. The second attachment provides most of the administration's major proposals and our final achieved outcome. Where it says "unchanged" it means that the provisions of the present Agreement (2014-17) remain in place. This second document is not exhaustive.
The third attachment represents changes in the 100/80 and 90/70 health insurance options.
The ratification meeting will be held on September 14th in the Yvonne theater at 11:30. It will be conducted in accordance with the rules laid out in our Constitution (Article XI -Contract Ratification).
